Recover
Rebuilt nine missing pages, restored redirects and repaired critical on-page issues that were weakening search performance.
15 July - 15 August 2026
Month one was about restoring what the rebuild had lost, strengthening what remained, and giving search engines - and real people - a much clearer picture of The BookSitters.
The Month 01 story
The previous rebuild had left gaps in content, structure, redirects and search relevance. This month focused on getting the fundamentals right - then turning that recovery work into measurable forward movement.
Rebuilt nine missing pages, restored redirects and repaired critical on-page issues that were weakening search performance.
Reworked the homepage, service messaging, packages and contact journey so visitors immediately understand the value and next step.
Brought the delivery team up to speed on the business model, brand and goals so the same vision carries across the website and social channels.
Built together
Close collaboration with Justine gives the work its direction. A team aligned around The BookSitters' goals, business model and brand turns that direction into consistent execution across search, social and the website.
The search comeback
The SEO Report tracked 51 priority keywords across the Month 01 reporting period. In that window, The BookSitters established a meaningful search footprint and moved ahead of the tracked competitor set.
These are high-intent searches from people looking for specific bookkeeping, BAS and accounting software support in the Southern Highlands.
It ranks for 26 tracked keywords at an average position of 8.38, making it the strongest page by estimated organic traffic in the SEO Report.
Technical recovery
The technical SEO repairs show the backlog shrinking while intentional redirects protect continuity as old URLs are replaced.
A note on redirects: some internal redirects are intentional. They were introduced to protect traffic and URL continuity while missing or superseded pages were rebuilt.
Month 01 delivery
Month 02 · Build for growth
With the recovery foundation in place, Month 02 shifts from repair to expansion: building dedicated high-intent service pages, creating a clearer website hierarchy and making the most valuable customer journeys easier to find.
Organise the site around the services prospective clients are actively searching for. We will strengthen the hierarchy between the homepage, service pages, packages and supporting resources, then improve internal links so authority flows toward the pages that matter most.
Architecture · internal links · page hierarchyEach priority service will receive a dedicated page with clear positioning, search-focused content, proof, FAQs and a strong path to enquiry:
The menu will be simplified so core services are immediately visible and visitors can reach the right page with fewer decisions. The Partners section will become more concise and less dominant, reducing the SEO and navigation weight currently being taken away from The BookSitters' own services.
Navigation · user experience · SEO focusWe will bring The BookSitters' strategic voice to LinkedIn, using one core monthly topic across the website and social channels. This creates a more consistent message while building visibility with business owners and referral partners.
LinkedIn · authority · brand consistencyWhat we need from you
Please keep adding fresh photos and short videos to the shared Google Drive - behind-the-scenes moments, team updates, client-facing insights and day-to-day footage all help. We would also love one core topic each month that you want the brand to own.
